Thought I'd pass along my good experience with my 69 Buick Delco am/fm radio repair. It stopped working this summer & the capacitor was replaced with the $100 overhaul which included cleaning back side of the dial face, repainting the station pointer fluorescent red, & replacing the light bulb.
I went for the option to install a cable for playing an Ipod or MP3 player. Also, the bass & treble were boosted & with a new rear speaker the radio plays like never before with incredible sound.
Hemmings Muscle Machine magazine did a story with photos on the repair shop some 2 yrs ago & with some 25 yrs experience I highly recommend Robert Pacini oldcarstereo@hotmail.com tel. 315-797-5219 8441 Seneca Turnpike, New Hartford NY 13413. He stocks an inventory of vintage audio equipment.
